Kardashian Beauty

Hello beautiful people, so around September we got ourselves a Kardashian beauty makeup pop up shop here in Liverpool and I was so excited. I love all things Kardashian and I couldn't wait to get my hands on some of their product's. Now that was 5 months ago and the time has come for the pop up shop to close its doors, which to be honest I am a bit sad about. Being the optimist that I am, I try to see the good side in everything and in this case the good thing is a 50% discount sale, yay! As well as having a 50% sale they also had some set's made up that you could buy with even more money knocked off and I just couldn't resist treating myself.

The first thing in my box of goodies was my Khloe' s kardazzle face pallet. In this pallet you get 8 gorgeous eyeshadows and then in a little pull out draw you get 3 cheek blush/highlighters. The size of this pallet is just perfect, you could easily put it in your bag before you go out and not even notice its in there.

 The next things in my box were a pair of eyelashes called Glimmer. Now I'm not a big lover of lashes but I can't wait to try this pair. I also got a Joystick lip lacquer in the shade "rose parade" and it is the most beautiful shade of red I have ever seen. It is so easy to use because it is like a thick lip pencil that winds up, similar to a regular lipstick. And F.Y.I it tastes amazing!

Next are two nail varnish, one in the shade perfection perfection 860 which is a lovely pink peach and the other is shade gleaming etincelant 827, it's like a bronze copper sort of colour. Got to say I am in love with these nail varnish because they go on so even and if you want to be quick you can get away with just one coat, what more can you ask for?

This last one didn't actually come in the set but I bought it anyway because at £5.99 it was a steal. It is The Quicky lengthening and thickening mascara. I must admit that I have used this mascara before and still have one that I am using at the minute, but because the price was so good I had to get another to put away for when I run out. If you try any of the Kardashian beauty products I really recommend you try this as it is amazing. It dose as it says on the package, is great when your in a rush and need to just throw some mascara on your lashes and still has them looking fab!

 What did it cost me for all this makeup? Well including the price of the mascara it came to the grand total of £25.99! Can you say bargain?  So if you find yourself in Liverpool in the next few weeks you need to visit the Kardashian beauty store, I know I'll be going again before they close to get my hands on a few more goodies.

Makeup tips every girl should know

We all wear makeup, whether it be for a special occasion or on an everyday basis like me and it can be such a hassle , particularly if you don't know what you should use. I have decided today to make a list of some makeup "tips and tricks" that will hopefully help anyone who needs it and make putting your makeup on fun again, rather than the thing you dread doing before you go out.

1. Put your eyeshadow on first- It is the worst thing ever when you have put your foundation on and specks of eyeshadow fall. You are torn between leaving the specks under your eyes or wiping off some of your foundation. But why make the decision, if you do your eyeshadow first you can wipe away any fall down without worrying about having patchy foundation. Problem solved!
2. Always put a loose/pressed powder on top of your foundation- No one likes having a shiny face, especially when your going on a night out or working all day. Too many people forget this step when putting on makeup, WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? Putting power on sets all your makeup and helps it stay on so at the end of the day/night your face doesn't look like a greasy patchy mess.
3. Don't skip the primer- Firstly primer is not, I repeat NOT a moisturiser. Primer is like a glue for your makeup, it smooths out your skin and can also stop your face shining. So it is a must if you don't want your face to come off.
4. Don't sleep with your makeup on- This is probably the most important tip I can give you. I can already hear some of you gasp at the thought of this, but yes, some people still sleep with a full face of makeup on. This is so bad for your skin because it blocks your pores. Your skin won't be able to breathe and you will break out in spots. So please keep a packet of makeup removal wipes close to your bed in case of any late nights.

What's in my clutch?

Hi everyone, tonight I'm going out and I thought that it was a good opportunity to do a 'what's in my clutch?' post. I hate carrying lots of things on a night out so I have tried my best to keep it minimal. My clutch is the one I previously showed in my haul post.

• Maxfactor masterpiece max mascara- I love this mascara and it is the perfect size to slip in to my bag and doesn't take up too much room.
• MUA lipstick shade 16 nectar- For me this is a must because even if I use a straw I will need a touch up at some point in the night.
• Duo-fiber face brush by real techniques- I hate taking compacts out with me because they always break so I just take a brush to go over any area that needs a touch up.
• Small leopard purse- I hate when I see people who use a clutch like it's a giant purse.
• Passport- even though I'm nearly 23 I always get asked for ID so this is a must.
• My phone- It acts as my Camera when I'm out and comes in handy when I need a taxi.

Beauty and fashion haul x

Hi everyone, today I went shopping in town and got myself some amazing bargains, so I thought I should share them with you in a haul.

So a per usual the first shop I visited was primark. It felt like I hadn't been in ages and I wanted to see if they had any nice bikini's in that I could put away for my hols in July. I love primark bikini's because their prices are so good and they fit really well. I was so excited to when I spotted this bikini, I thought that the colour and pattern looked so pretty. You can't see.it well in the picture but I love the top were it has been slightly gathered, it's so cute. The top cost just £6 and the bottoms £4.

The next shop I visited was Storm were I bought my new clutch. I've been meaning to buy a new clutch for a while, but never found the right one. I wanted it to be versatile so I could wear it with almost anything, the only problem was I didn't want it to be plane. When I spotted this I had to have it. I think the colours in it look fab and I would be able to use it with almost any outfit. It cost me £10 which I thought was amazing value for money.

The last shop I visited today was pound world. I like to pop in there every now and then to look at their makeup.

For anyone who has not been to pound world, this is a shop where all the products are £1. In the makeup section they have branded makeup in these purple wrappers, sometimes it's really nice stuff and sometimes not so much. Today however was a good day. In total I spent £3 on makeup. With this section of my haul I'm going to list what I got in my bags and next to them I will show the online retail price to give you and idea of the money I saved. All the products I bought today are Barry M, I chose them because I think the colours will look really nice this summer.

1. Eyeliner pen shade 7 (silver)-£3.99
2. Eyeliner pen shade 5 (kingfisher blue)-£3.99
3. Kohl pencil shade 13 (pastel turquoise)-£2.99
4. Shimmering eye and lip crayon shade 7 (bronze/gold)- £4.95

7. Liquid eyeliner shade 7 (turquoise)-£4.79

That is a total saving of £27.45 (yay me)

Whats on my face?

Hi everyone, if been meaning to do this post for a few days but never had the time, so while I had some time to myself I thought "why not?".

Before I add any makeup to my face I always use my Cean & clear shine control daily facial moisturiser . I tend to have really dry skin and this helps a lot, I also find it acts as a good base. My favourite foundation is the Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation , I love the flawless Finnish it gives. To concealed the dark circles under my eyes and my blemishes I use collection lasting perfection concealer fair .I think this concealer is the best I've ever used as it gives amazing coverage. For my cheeks I use sleek blusher in the shade flamingo. I love sleek blush as it is highly pigmented and a little goes a long way. On top of this I use a baked highlighter which I found in a little shop for about £1.





For my eyebrows I just use a matte brown eyeshadow, I'm not sure of the colour or brand as the packaging doesn't say. For my eyeshadow I used my sleek oh so special pallet. For a base I used the colour pamper, on top of that I put organza and on the outer corners I blended the shade wrapped up. My mascara is Maxfactor masterpiece max in black. I use this mascara when I want my eyelashes to look thicker.

To finish the whole look I added some Maxfactor colour elixer in the colour foxy amber to my lips. I like this because unlike lipstick it's quite subtle.

Sneek peek in to my bedroom

Hi everyone, today I have decided to show you the storage I use in my bedroom to hold all my jewellery, beauty products, etc.

First of all I will point out that all my units are from IKEA. I absolutely love them, there so simple and make my life a lot easier. I will leave a link by each picture if you fancy taking a look.

So my first and main source of storage are my chest of draws from the malm range at IKEA(here)

In here I keep most of my clothes. I also use one of the top draws for my daily makeup and some hair accessories. I got the dividers from IKEA for £6 and I think they are really handy.

On top of my draws I have my photo album, perfumes , jewellery and some makeup bits.

I store all my necklaces in a large glass cookie jar which I was given for Christmas. On the lid I have a necklace I found at a sale in new look, my Cartier bangle and my Thomas Sabo charm bracelet. I think the smaller one was meant to be a herb container, I got is at home bargains for about 29p, the money went towards breast cancer reasearch so I had to get it and it came in really handy to put my earings in.

Last I have my real techniques brushes which I store in this cute cup and my lip balm that I keep in an old candle glass.

The next unit I use is a 2 draw chest also from the malm range (here). This is were I keep all my creams, cleansers, and other facial things.

Next are my two zebra print boxes, my DVD units and my tv stand.

First let's start with the DVD units and tv stand. As you have already guessed, I use my DVD units to store all my dvds. I got them from IKEA and they are the Benno DVD towers (here). I also got my tv stand from IKEA, it's from the Expedit range (here). In the bottom quarter I keep all my hair products in a little black basket.

In my zebra boxes I have some of my summer things that I haven't been able to wear through the winter (when the summer is here I will fill them with my jumpers). I like to keep them in these boxes because it gives me a lot more space in my chest of draws. On top of one I have 3 smaller boxes, one holds my nail varnish and the others have things I don't want to be on show, bits and pieces. On top of my other zebra box I have my Cecilia Ahern books and some of the things I use on my wreak this journal.

Hi everyone, for this post I have decided to share with you my makeup. I don't have a huge amount but I thought I'd share anyways. I'm not going to do reviews this will just be a list, but if you want to see a review ask in the comments.

First is my makeup draw where I keep the makeup I use on a daily basis along with my pallets and hair accessories.

I'll start with the front section which holds my daily collection.

The color institute does not lable there products with colour codes so I will just tell you the type of product and the amount I have to make things quicker.
